No, the footwork is not as good as Tyson's but he is actually faster on his feet than Tyson and that in and of itself is going to be more a problem for Fury than Wilder.

Wilder has already faced a guy as crafty or craftier than Fury; but Fury has never faced a guy that is his size and just as mobile and that is where Tyson is in for a bit of a shock.

I hope we get a good fight, and I predict that both the winner and loser emerge as very viable still.
Agreed. I think Fury is going to be very surprised how fast Wilder is gonna be ablento close the distance.

Sort of the same reasons I thought Khan would be hard stylistically for floyd. Not saying fury is floyd or wilder is khan lol but the fact that yes floyd was very slick amd crafty with great dexterity in his footwork but as far as raw speed wilder is probably faster on his feet.

I see Fury getting tagged and a fire fight breaking out in the early-mid rounds. Fury will plant his feet and trade if he's caught

i wonder if fury might try to employ the tactics he used against cunningham when he realized cunningham had faster hands and could get off quicker than him..

Fury kept a tight high guard and started walking him down cutting the ring off.. Leaning on him and firing accurate hard shots off on the inside.

Of course wilder hits about ten times harder and IDK if Furys high guard could consistently absorb that kind of ammo

Imo the perfect fight for him to prepare for wilder would be a young athletic fighter with an awkward style and huge power.

Obviously they weren't willing to risk the payday though.

So facing a southpaw in his second fight in 3 years, leading up to getting in with the biggest right hand puncher in the division was the perfect fight? He got rounds, but he needed em vs a tall right hander.

Fury would change his style on the fly, but if he got tagged like he did with Cunningham he wouldn't be getting up.

Aye.. But if he can see the shots coming (unlike the right hand steve dropped him with) and absorb most of the power with a tight high guard I can see fury getting inside wilders power range he could really **** him up on the inside

Wilder needs full extension on his shots to unleash that power.

I can really see a scenario in which Fury changes from trying to box on the outisde to walking him down and try to **** him out on the inside.

But aye you're absolutely correct Fury is one of the few guys in boxing who can read and react and adapt on the fly.. Some boxers can follow a gameplan marvelously but when it fails they can't just nake adjustments on the fly..

Good performance by Tyson. Now he doesn't have to worry about weight, he can concentrate on his timing and skills. Wilder is gonna get schooled.

Same. The skills were there and he did 10 rounds easily, which was my biggest concern.

He needs the round. He would have gain nothing stopping Pianeta early.

fury is the better skilled all rounder,speed/footwork/movement/general boxing ability

i see fury winning the rounds,i think he will trade at points in the DW fight,DW will have to win by ko to win, klitchko tried to win & failed,i dont see DW as a better fighter than klitchko,

DW was out on his feet in r7 v a old man in ortiz, & did very little in that fight, fury will be the one working the rounds
