Wilder still B side vs Joshua if he beats Fury?

Now that Wilder has gone to Europe and caused a ruckus, say he beats Fury. Now it's almost like he's the A side against Joshua.

He'd now be the lineal HW champ and the argument that he's not well known in Europe is out the window.

of course he would. joshua holds 3 of the belts and ive never seen wilder sell out a stadium on his own. All roads lead to anthony joshua in that division which is why both fighters seem to be talking more about joshua than each other.

Wildher will be A side when Joey Abell wins a world championship.

A side is dictated by money in almost every scenario. Joshua will be the A side until he loses and probably even then he’ll make tons unless he loses a lot.

Fury was pretty big, but AJ is huge. He resonates with the people. For one reason or another, he brings in the people AND the cash.

Wilder will be a much less distant B side though....in theory. Beating Fury pre mental breakdown woulda been a different story. I’m not sure how much credit people will give anyone for beating Fury tbh. Time will tell.

He SHOULD beat Fury. If he doesn’t I’d hope he retires. That’d be bad.

Fury is the lineal champ only in the most technical of terms. I’m pretty sure once you retire it’s no longer the same. He’s not the ring champ anymore as well if I recall...not about to google for Fury

Those are some good odds. Abell is on the war path for a title belt!

Yes cuz if Aj brings more a*s to them seats then we can't argue that. D.Wilder still punked Aj though with the 50 million & this Fury fight (I'm sure it will happen)….LOL

I think aj is still the draw given his ability to sell out stadiums. I do think if wilder/fury draws like 5 million viewers then that just makes the fight with aj that much bigger, but aj is still the a side.

From a water boy to world champion, that would be something.

The number of belts one fighter is irrelevant here. GGG had three belts last time vs Canelo and he was still the B-side.

But yes, Wilder will be the B-side still as Joshua is probably the biggest worldwide star in boxing. However, if Wilder is to beat Fury and the fight generates good numbers? He's definitely getting a percentage of likely 40% and not a flat fee.
