    Is Dwyer On Crack?

I just finished Dwyer’s Spence vs Mikey video and I will share a bit of what he said.

    I’m paraphrasing:
Dwyer: Spence is sometimes too anxious to land his shots so he can run across the ring and say Mandown. Don't be surprised if Errol Spence gets KO'd. If this fight is announced, I will bet early and take the underdog, the better boxer with the straighter punches Mikey Garcia to win the fight straddled with Errol Spence by stoppage.

He puts too much emphasis on styles but he knows his stuff. He will always go with the boxer even if he's 105 moving up to fight a heavyweight

He makes sound arguments without injecting race/politics like everyone else from LDBC. Personally, I disagree with him here, but I respect his work and I think he makes the best boxing breakdowns and post fight videos.

I agree. I like Dwyer and have respected his opinions for years but he seems to be a bit of a hater sometimes.

I couldn’t even get through his post fight Spence vs Ocampo video because Dwyer kept going on and on about how effective Ocampo was despite being stopped by a body shot in round 1. It boggles my mind.

He just thinks different. He looks at fights from the angle of making money. Common sense need not apply.

He will always pick a heavy underdog and hedge it with the most likely outcome. He is also very high on Mikey. So if Mikey pulls off the miracle and wins, he cleans up. If the hedge wins he will break even, or win or lose a little.

He sometimes gets a fixation on strange fighters though. At one time he considered Mundine and Degale almost unbeatable. Damn Mundine was still on his p4p list well after he was already washed up LOL.

I enjoy his breakdowns. At least he bases his picks on reasoning and backs it up. He gets a lot right as well. It's just easier to bash based on the wrong calls. When you make a video on damn near every fight you can't win them all.
