Hooking-up with Haymon, could be a good move.
Hooking up with Unable Sanchez, waste of time.
One out of two ain't bad, I guess.

Getting access to TV is key for the venture to have any chance in the UK. Sky Sports spends the most money, with BoxNation/BT Sports significantly behind that, and then you have Channel 5 (don't know for sure, but it seems akin to the old NBCSN deal that Kathy Diva had) and ITV (seemingly only in it to back the McGuigans) drastically behind that.

It's not going to take Hearn's guaranteed $250m deal, but Haymon is going to need a broadcaster being willing to put up the money needed to get into the conversation with BT and Sky. 4-12 shows, each with a budget approaching what Hearn gets for a show for regular Sky Sports, with the backing for one PPV every year.
      It’s not impossible, my friend.

What the hell did Hearn do for Luis Ortiz when he signed him? What has he really done for Big Baby in all this time?

Haymon gave Ortiz a championship shot right off.

Haymon is making some big moves this year. He is also rumored to be signing Rigo next.

I've said in a previous post I understand why Joyce is jumping ahead of himself because he turned pro so late. Saying that challenging Chisora and mentioning Ortiz with only 5 pro fights under your belt is a bit premature, there's no need to rush as the heavyweight title is wrapped up and his earliest chance for a world title shot is in 2020 but realistically 2021. Joyce has 12 - 18 months to prepare by getting relevant experience and I mentioned a few opponents . Start with Chazz Witherspoon,Gerald Washington,Helenius, then take a step up in class against Pulev and then Joseph Parker if his still undefeated and that's a big if as I don't think he would beat Parker he will be in a position to challenge Joshua/Wilder/Fury, depends whose the unified champion. At the moment he needs to build his career with the correct relevent experience.

This often gets mentioned when people want to bash Joyce. Think you will find most top pros have at least so amateur loses and often to nobodies too.

There is certainly no shame in losing to Is Usyk who is one of the best fighters on the planet.

Nice! A new heavyweight being trained by Sanchez. We’ll have a killer, offensive giant in the near future once Sanchez starts working on him. This should be fun!

Might not be the worst thing, maybe haymon can force some of the fighters he's got to fight Joyce cause he's in danger of being too good for his own good. I don't see why he needs to fight any more bums, he can take out old man Ortiz already. Let's make it happen.

Yeah plus in the pros Joyce would have 12 rounds to walk usyk down and plant one on his chin. He strikes me as someone who will be a slow starter when competition steps up.
