The difference is anyone with an ounce of common sense understands that Crawford/Spence is not the ww fight we want to see right now given Crawford has just won the title. Wilder and AJ have made multiple title defenses and have defeated the other top HWT's.

Another difference is Bob at least told everyone the deal that he wasn't going to make the fight now and why. Hearn pretended he was making AJ/Wilder then gave a deal he knew would be rejected, which is what he wanted so he could launch DAZN with a AJ fight that wasn't a PPV in the US.

It is fair to note though that Crawford-Spence is nowhere near as big as it can be whereas Joshua-Wilder is about the second biggest (and far ahead of the third) biggest fight that can happen and the next logical fight as it's the only two with titles.
Arum makes "out of TR" fights where his guys have the clear advantage. So yeah, he will make a Loma/Rigo or Loma/Linares, but will stall a Crawford/Spence or Loma/Mikey fight (although with mikey Its understandably bad blood).

Arum's an old snake who's been slithering around in boxing for decades. People know what he's about and aren't taken by surprise when he pulls some crap. Hearn is a relative newbie snake in the business. He throws people for a loop by saying one thing and doing another, so the shock and outrage hits harder.

There is an anti-British agenda going on here at BoxingScene.

He's a much better fighter despite being smaller. Most people felt Loma would win.

Also, we know Bob follows what his matchmakers say so if one of them gave him the ok he makes a fight.

I haven’t seen him criticized for loma Garcia lately. Mikey hasn’t mentioned loma in a long time

That's different than having an advantage. And even then Linares is no slouch, he was the best (or 2nd best if you consider Mikey) in that division.
