Comments Thread For: McCrory Believes Tyson Fury Was Victim of a Press Campaign

Tyson Fury (26-0, 19 KOs) has the second fight of his long-awaited comeback at Windsor Park in Belfast on Saturday night in what could be a stepping stone to a showdown with WBC holder Deontay Wilder, and former IBF cruiserweight titlist Glenn McCrory believes that the British press needs to get behind and support the controversial former heavyweight Champion.

Acting like a gypsy gangster and doing huge amounts of coke will make the headlines though! Fury can't keep his mouth shut long enough to stay out of the headlines. He loves talking bollocks!

the guy can be commended for speaking his mind but his views on woman, ****phobia rubbed people up wrong. He was upset that he didnt win the Sports personality of the year after saying all that? What else did he expect. You got to be PC for those things.

Lets not even go to the rest, quit with the victim act. Tyson got off well considering what really happened.

Agreed. I'm a fan of his but you just aren't getting away with saying that kind of stuff these days.

Fair play for speaking his mind, i like that, but if having the public and media against you is going to really bother you that much, then don't give them ammunition. He only has himself to blame in that respect.

Fury hasn't done anything to warrant the fans and the media getting behind him. He disrespected the sport with his ******* use and binge eating and his "signature win" against Klitschko was one of the most boring title fights in the history of the Heavyweight divison. So forgive me if I don't have any sympathy.

I don't know how or why it happened, but Fury seems to be better liked by casual UK sports fans now than he was right after he won the titles from Wlad.
