      2. Hopkins had a no contest vs. Robert Allen which should NOT count as a defense but they count it for some reason.

Count the wins and you have 19 plus the no contest which actually also stops the streak. Someone please explain.
Allen 1. No one mentioned the stunning deja vu of that one during the Smith fight. Either way I like Bhop, even when he's stinking up the joint.

Ridiculously close decision against Lara, many people though he lost
Got schooled for 12 rounds by mayweather
Fought a shot to hell angulo
Fought a shot to tell Kirkland who had lost 50 lbs,and had already been ko'd by ishida in one round.
Went 12 with a past prime cotto who's most recent achievements we're losing to trout, beating a one legged martinez,a random Dominican, and a drained geal.
Fought China chin Khan at a catch-weight,and was getting outboxed until he found the china.
Went 12 with a post Martinez Chavez Jr whose training diet was probably pot and Cheerios.
Had a highly controversial draw in which 90% of the boxing world had golovkin winning the decisions.

Canelo has one of the best if not the best resume of active fighters. Ward is retired and if you consider pacquaio psuedo retired.

I think beating world champions like Tarver, Pascal, Pavlik etc, some 20 years younger than him, when he was in his 40's and even 50's is a pretty big 'hinge' for his legacy. It doesn't matter if you can't stand the guy, you have to respect his career.

If a boxer wins a WBA title, he is a a recognized World champion. I'm not saying I agree with 4 separate sanctioning bodies, but it is still one of the legitimate belts. If it was an interim title, or an IBO belt, I would agree that it wasn't.

use some common-sense..... the WBA themselves have admitted that having 3 titles in a single division is rubbish..... and they have since pledged to remove the rubbish "titles"

why p1ss on the sport because you are in love with Golovkin ?

                    give it a rest man

I'm not even a GGG fan, although I prefer him to Canelo the PED cheat. I already said I don't agree with the WBA having more than one belt, yes it's ******, but you're missing my point. The WBA regular is a recognized title, regardless of whether you, me or anybody else like it. If it was the interim, no. It's the full belt though.
It's clear you don't want to accept this simple fact because you don't want to acknowledge GGG having the record.
                      Whatever, you're totally biased.
