Jacobs needs to survive the early rounds when I think he's vulnerable to Derevyanchenko's power, if he does I think he pulls away as the fight goes on.

Whoever thinks this is an easy fight for Jacobs is sadly mistaken. This guy Derevianchenko is known for his excellent technique and his handspeed. And he packs a punch too. He not only drops his opponents during fights but he puts them away. Granted he hasn’t really fought anyone in the pros yet but he has a decent amateur background. Jacobs better come into this fight 100% focused or else.

Completely fair. I just think most people look at level of opposition and suspect Jacobs is just better prepared for this. This is a career making opportunity for Derevyanchenko. A win here makes him legit. Jacobs has more to lose than to gain, but I think he just is ready to be challenged and to show he is still among the elite at 160.

I am a Jacobs fan, so I got him in a UD, taking control fairly early on to win the fight in which Derevynchenko gives him hell in spurts. I would not be shocked if Derevynchenko steps up and gets a huge victory though.

I have Jacobs too by UD. Hopefully he isn’t looking past him to possibly taking on the winner of GGG vs Canelo.
