Tyson was based around a style directly for his 5'10 height , a masterful counter punch peekaboo style Damato created for him . You need to be a superior fighter to utilise it and Tyson perfected it .

Age had nothing to do with Tyson ,once he went away from what he was taught and started training less it only went down hill .

Shorter close range fighters dont last as long as tall big guys able to develope slower and fight from distance . Klitchko and Lewis 2 modern day ex . are the way HW's are going today , they are still developing well past early 30's .

I don't think he's hit his peak just yet. I like that he's learned the lesson from Klitschko and become a little more risk averse which won't make him more popular but its smart in terms of longevity and not taking much punishment. A guy who is 6 foot 6 with an 82 inch reach and good overall boxing ability is going to be very hard for anyone to beat.

Wilder better hurry up and get in there while there is still a glimmer of a chance for him because if he fights Joshua any time post mid 2019 i give him zero chance.
Aj is in his peak for the next 3 years....as long as he stays away from D.Wilder....

huge difference between the two kinds of athletes. takes a big man a lot longer to learn how to use his body, to fill out and develop real power.

mike tyson was 195 lbs when he was 13 years old and built like a grown man.

he's 100% in his physical prime, you're crazy if you think otherwise. he is 29 years old in a few months.

he might get a bit better at pacing himself, nuanced things about finding space for shots and finishing, but for the most part joshua is who he is at this stage. his best years are these years and the next few. invariably his body will wear down after that. it's boxing.
