Realistically, who could he possibly beat? SHOT knees (plural) and even more diminished reflexes due to his age. Seems like a humiliation reay to happen.

He was doing stand up and some theater work in Argentina.

Hopefully this is just some publicity stunt for whatever movie he's working on.

I was always a big fan of Martinez, really liked his unorthodox athletic style mixed in with some explosive speed and power. Really kills me how the opportunist Cotto jumped all on to fight him and how his lame fans give him credit for that "win."

He doesn't look terrible but he looks ALOT slower than he used to be. I'll admit though, the vid did get me a little hyped up seeing him somewhat resemble his old self. It's like there is the hope that he could come back and be dominant, but in the back of my mind I know it would be a terrible mistake. Like others have already said, those knees might look sturdy right now, but you throw in a full 2 months worth of hardcore training and a full speed fight, I can't imagine them lasting long enough or be strong enough for him to be successful.

The ONLY thing would be if he were to come back for a one-time fight against another past it name. If he could get JCCJ at 164, MAYBE.

Damn shame HBO knocked the wind out of Martinez's sails a bit with that Dzinziruk fiasco.
What fight were you watching when you took your sig pic?

It looks like GGG/Murray to me but I'm not sure.

The kind of injuries he has don't ever leave you. Hope he reconsiders.
Sergio didn't/couldn't even spar during training camp for that fight...lmfao

With his style one NEEDS to be able to move. I don't see how his knees are "magically better". Looks decent in a 90 second clip...but that means nothing.

Sorry Sergio father Time is undefeated

That was a sick back and forth. That Max Kellerman line is forever stuck in my head. It's been at least a couple years since I watched this fight. Time for another rewatch.
