Great responses to an uneducated fight fan. And personally, I don’t think Canelo’s movement is what troubled GGG so. It was the movement, combined with GGG having to respect Canelo’s power that made GGG more gunshy than I’ve ever seen him.

I haven’t seen too many GGG fights where his opponent didn’t use a lot of movement. GGG is normally excellent at cutting of the ring, closing off escape routes, and getting in great position to get his shots off. And we saw none of that against Canelo. GGG only started having success when he basically made the decision that he was willing to take two or three to land his one. And that pretty much coincided with Canelo tiring in the middle rounds.

FYI: when a fighter back-ped-al the whole fight it means he can't handle the other fighters strength and speed. A good fighter will find a way to push the other fighter back. This is what ring Generalship is. In this case Canelo wasn't able to adapt to GGG style hence the back-ped-aling and being constantly being push back.

Canelo did not back peddle the whole fight..that is a damn lie that has been spread

As the days pass the lies grow bigger and bigger, like Canelo was literally running around the damn ring..he was busting GGG up

Hopefully we'll be treated to some skillful aggressive boxing from BOTH fighters this go around.

I hear you, pal. GGG is the monster in middleweight division nobody can stand with him toe to toe even at his age 36. He will make run all elite middleweight boxers and Canelo is no exception.

I really hope it's just Sanchez trying to goad Canelo into a couple of exchanges. Golovkin has shown ability to adapt and to adjust style as needed. I really hope they're not just gonna show up with 0 lessons learned and hope for the best.

Canelo isn't even that good of a "runner"/boxer for Sanchez to whine so much. The difference is that those counters had some serious sting in them, which made Golovkin tentative. He's never had any issues with movers before. Power was the difference.

Nel o should only run if Ggg hurts him. Then running is ok. But in first fight Nell said Ggg didn't hurt him? So why run and not stand and try ko ggg?
Because he was lying when he said he wasn't hurt by Golovkin's punches and his stamina is poor.

No he wasn't, he was backing away. Every minute he backed away was a minute where he didn't have go to war with Golovkin and get tired or hurt. It was safer for Canelo to move back than to come forward. He went with the safe option.
