GGG still hasn't been in a proper war, or even close.
Talkin about the old days, La Motta and Ray Robinson fought 6 times. Getting one superfight made these days takes years of hustling i.e Pac vs Floyd. It's not what it used to be
You can't compare the days of Robinson and LaMotta fighting 6 times to today. It's a different era. These days we have televised fights and PPV, plus the fighters prepare with proper training camps. Fights are promoted months in advance.
Guys back then used to fight several times a month. They all used to end up with dementia too. That would be seriously bad for your health.

Canelo said he was the only real Mexican last time, then ran and was defensive for 12 rounds. He got booed by his Mexican fans because of his style lying to his fans. I don’t see him changing anything as he doesn’t want to taste GGG power, because he was outlanded in 10 out of 12 rounds while being defensive. Canelo going to run again, only question is if judges will give him points for running and being defensive or GGG coming forward and landing more punches

What you're saying is of course right. But even if you just rewind to the 80s and 90s, there was far more of an inclination for the best to fight the best. Now they are happy to navigate a path of best fit, and if that means padding up a record then so be it. Thankfully, Kalle Sauerland is sorting things out with these tourneys.
