Bad example as Floyd is gym rat and trains regardless of whether he's got fight planned. Plus fury put on weight like he was 300 lbs plus and I doubt fury hit a focus bag or heavynbag in Ernest in that t 3 years outThe “ring rust/layoff” thing is being overblown. Mayweather came off the couch after two years and treated JMM like a bad sparring partner. Leonard came off the couch after three years and beat Hagler. And that was only his second fight in a five year span. If you can fight you can fight.Comment

Everyone who's had a taste of Wilder's power has hit the canvas. It will be interesting to see how Tyson Fury handles it. I can't help but think of the time Steve Cunningham floored him. Watch out for the hit man.Comment

Even if that’s the case, Fury will not be fighting Wilder coming off a three year layoff. He will have fought three months prior. And will have fought more fights that Wilder this year. And as a comparison, Wilder isn’t close to being as good a fighter as JMM, who Floyd has no tune-up fights for.Comment

He was dropped in the Cunningham fight by a looping right hand, which Wilder throws. And he was dropped by a straight right hand in the Pajlic fight. A punch Wilder also throws very well. Those things happen in boxing and its nothing to make a huge deal of. But that’s part of the reason I’ve always thought Wilder was a tough style matchup for Fury. Fury is a pretty skilled guy. At least in this era of heavyweights. But I don’t think he’s skilled enough to fight a clean twelve rounds against Wilder. He’s also not the biggest puncher. And if he can’t hurt Wilder. Deontay is a tough guy to keep off you for twelve rounds.
Ironically, I think Fury is a tough style for AJ. Because I think AJ would try and win a boxing match against him from a distance. But I think AJ beats Wilder because of his counterpunching ability. And he combines that with the power to make Wilder pay for the technical mistakes Deontay makes throughout his fights.Comment

Anyone and I mean anyone can move around for 12 rounds and throw less than 100 punches. The cardio comes into place when you move around and throw over 300 punches. In fact less than 100 is pathetic output and possibly the least that has ever been thrown ever in the history of HW boxing title fight and that is saying a lot! So no he wasn’t in shape for that fight and he hasn’t been for over 4 years. I know it’s hard to grasp. I too kept wishing for Mike Tyson to get back to the way he was and like fury it just isn’t going to happen. Like Grandpa said sh!@ in one hand and wish in another and see which fills firstOh yeah, the fight where he moved around for 12 rounds constantly moving his body and feinting.... so much so he had sever blisters on his feet... he really looked out of shape there you're right
He's been training a year and seriously since November.... you don't know what you are talking about. He is a veteran fighter and spars like a trojan. He has the top boxing nutritionist from the UK and A+ training.... I think an elite fighter knows more than you, sorry.Comment

Sure thing, be a clown to divert your absolute ******ity.
You think that it's not possible for Fury to lose any weight in 2 months while working with the top boxing nutritionist in the UK and doing intensive sparring and training.... hahahahaha
Take your loss and move on you idiot.Comment
