SMH. Thurman 8-4 Porter easily. It was not as close as people make it out to be. Thurman was more accurate, his punches, landed the cleaner punches, and he hurt Porter way more than Porter hurt him. Porter is head and shoulders above Horn so I see Thurman stopping Horn in the MID rounds.

It's a style thing because Thurman isn't great at fighting inside and doesn't clinch, so he can be exposed up close, but Porter is much better than Horn and walked through some monster, monster shots to give Thurman hell. Horn would probably make Thurman uncomfortable in spots but get entirely outclassed.

It's crazy how Horn's stock rose after his so-called "win" over Pacman. He's a name fighter now but I don't see him at the top of the welterweight division. The only reason he had success against Pacquiao was because, aside from being the bigger fighter, he was able to fight dirty at home. I watched the fight and have re-watched clips and Horn's dirty tactics were never called into question. He tripped Pacquiao by clearly putting his foot behind him to cause the trip. He'd constantly use his shoulders and forearms to rough up Pacquiao and would push Pacquiao down with his upper body to tire out the smaller man. That's what happened at home but against elite welterweights and in the US I don't see him finding the same success.

Right. He clearly won both fights, and the Danny Garcia fight was very clear. Even the rounds Danny won, you could make a case for Thurman in some of them. But the early rounds it was clear as day for Thurman.

The Porter fight was closer, but Thurman landed the cleaner shots and out boxed him late for the win.

Some how Thurman has become a running joke, but the man can clearly fight. Love that Espinoza is saying he may be on the Spence/Garcia card setting up the winners to face each other.

As for Horn, while he is physical like Porter, he's simply not as good. So Thurman may have a few shaky moments, but should still clearly beat him.

Thurman hurts Horn. Yes he’s uncomforable fighting that kind of style but it doesn’t change the fact that Horn can eat something big while doing his thing. He was allowed to do his wrestling moves with Manny that’s why he was able to be successful.
With proper refereeing I believe both of them knocks him out.
Aside from crawford doing the right thing it was officiated well.

Porter vs Horn would be nuts! Thurman would TKO him.

Thurman would knock Horns block off, no way would someone come at Thurman that way. Porter is reckless but from the outside he can actually box and can be pretty crafty.
