Thurman almost lost to Porter. How would Jeff Horn do?

Thurman had a tough time with the linebacker strategy. He looked good in spots but not in others.

Hornet tried that strategy against Crawford and got embarrassed for his trouble after a bunch of gym controversy.

The question: Was Thurman/Porter showing a weakness in Thurman or the skills of Porter?

Porter's never been completely outclassed, schooled or dominated by anyone, yet he doesn't have one-punch power and doesn't have a refined style. He's just rough and rugged. So that's acknowledged.

I don't like Thurman at all but what is this revisionist history that the Porter and especially the Garcia fights are debatable.
I thought Thurman beat Porter in a close but clear decision...I don't get the debate...

I think Jeff Horn would probably get smoked, definitely outboxed if not TKOed, but he should take the fight if someone tries to make it. He needs to cash out on his beating Pacquiao before everyone realizes it was a fluke and he's not a world-class fighter.

What is "almost lost"? Did Thurman hit a game winning shot?

Thurman himself wasn't sure he won that fight when they were announcing scorecards bro.

Garcia? That was close but clear. Porter? No.

Almost lost is the face you make when they're reading scorecards and you're not sure you won.

Or maybe he expected the scores to be wider in his favor. He did still win a Unanimous Decision. That isn't close to "almost losing".

I think the Thurman vs Porter fight showed how good Porter actually is, Thurman is good, but so is Porter and I think both beat Horn.

                  I get it - you're a Thurman fan. Don't change facts though

Which was a result of linebacker strategy from Porter. Thurman himself knows he fought ****** that fight because he was trying to prove a point and be fan friendly instead of boxing smart at a distance.

That Porter won ANY rounds - I'm sorry - is a joke. Thurman should have danced circles around him.

And that's my question: is it that Porter is that good to prevent that or is it that Thurman isn't as good as we think - thus Horn has a chance?

We all know Porter/Horn ends in a headbutt double knockout with no winner.
