You summed him up pretty well there. He's an overglorified journeyman, really. He's never beaten any really top fighters, and when he gets his shot against them, he loses. He can be fun to watch, if you like to watch a guy just brawl, but personally, I prefer to watch two guys BOX, not brawl.

So, in essence, he's a C fighter with loads of determination and heart, which makes him a C fighter who can win.

I'm not trying to take anything away from him, I'm just looking at it objectively. He's not very talented as a boxer, but you have to give him loads of credit for his heart.

Hes not the best fighter out there, but hes got the best heart in a looong time. He resembles boxers from the 20's. Guys that would fight for pennies and were just in it for the heart of the game.

He runs on pure heart and determination. Id say that every single time Gatti leaves the ring, he's left his mark. Everytime he leaves the ring, his audience will most likely remember him forever. I dont think hes ever been in a boring fight.

But if i can quote million dollar baby: "If you got a guy thats nothing but heart, you got a guy thats gonna take a beating"

gatti is not a C fighter hes definetely a B fighter. He does have boxing skills because of McGirt and he boxed beautifully in the first round against DLH, but he was never the same in that fight after getting knocked down.

C fighter + A Heart = B fighter well said he has some boxing skill and alot of heart, can't take anything away from his entertaining style but i'd rather see a Mayweather, Winky, or B-hop do their methodical thang

Yah, Gatti is an action fighter all right. I'd give him a B grade. The fights with Ivan Robinson are classic too. I still cant believe he lost to that punk ass Angel Manfredy.
