I like Gatti, he helped get me into boxing. He definately has heart and determination. I wish more fighters showed the heart that he has. Definately good for the sport even if his boxing skills arent up there.

still he has skills that a lot of fighters that ARE recognized for being boxers dont have that he has, you could see his boxing ability increase after the first ward fight, and they have gotten better

Gatti is one of my favorite fighters ever. Like everyone here said already his heart is incomparable. He has done more for boxing with his sub-par boxing ability than most fighter that are very skilled boxing wise.

Gatti has better skills than he's given credit for because he turns to his instincts quickly. He'll be known as the most exciting fighter in history, just ahead of Saad Muhammad, because of his many wars. But if you really break down his fights, he uses skill, but when he gets rattled he turns to instinct and the fights become wars. Because he's nearing the end of his career I am hoping we have someone who is at least half as exciting. Right now Rogers Mtagwa out of Philadelphia is one with skills who will trades exchanges. Gatti is easily a B grade; could have been an A- but he did lose to Oscar, Floyd, Ivan Robinson (the first was better than the M. Ward bouts) and Manfredy.

Everybody loves watching Gatti. All you ****ers know you'll be all over that **** when he fights Baldomir next month. I wonder how much longer his hands can hold up. It seems like he ****s them up in every fight lately. Also, what the hell is going on with his eyes? The dude looks like he's asian?!?
