Hurd my favorite fighter in boxing now. He's a humble kid with alot of confidence. He mentioned that he wants either J-Rock or the Brian Carlos Castano as his "tune up" after surgery. That would be impressive and I'd honestly settle for a lesser opponent considering he's coming off of surgery.

I think it's a tough matchup for Hurd but I do believe he wants Charlo and he wants him soon. I actually think that kind of unnerves Charlo a bit. That whole "Lions Only" mantra; he's used to being the hunter. I don't think he's used to a guy like Hurd who seems to want to fight him.

It was seriously like a Barrera-Morales or a Gatti-Ward fight, but at 154. Fans demanded a second and then a third fight for those two match-ups and should be doing the same for Lara-Hurd.
