Young prime champions like Jacobs and Canelo are vastly superior opponents to 38 year old fat Ortiz who has never been a champion and probably never will be a champion. Lol all you want but you are still a GGG hater who deliberately low rates GGG's opponents and elevates Ortiz to a level he never was or will be.

How good GGG's resume is depends a hell of a lot on if you are neutral, a GGG fan or a GGG hater and there are a lot of extreme GGG haters on here. They wouldn't give him an ounce of credit if he KOed Canelo, Jermall and Saunders in the next year. He would still be a cherry picking bum beater who has done nothing of worth to them. You say Crawford is younger. Is that supposed to give him extra points for turning pro earlier than GGG? GGG is the longest reigning champion in boxing today. He defends his titles far more often than any other champions. He has defeated numerous boxers who were top 10 contenders when he fought them including Murray and Monroe. He won most of his fights by KO and has more KO wins than Crawford has fights. Crawford has an excellent resume and is a great champion. GGG is also a great champion and to me he has a better resume than Crawford by beating far more rated contenders. To me GGG beat Canelo and Jacobs and I consider them better than anybody Crawford has ever fought.

Add to the fact that GGG pretty much was begging and waiting for Canelo to move up to fight him. GGG has never gone out of his comfort zone to make a fight. If he was such a small MW he could have easily dropped to 154 to take on the likes of Lara, Trout, Charlos, Cotto and so on instead of fighting weak MWs. He could have easily moved up to take on a fight at 168 and moved back down. GGG fans want fighters to come to him but don't urge him to do the same.

            Bud's isn't exactly filled with world-beaters.

            1)Gamboa
            2)Postol
            3)Indongo
            4)Horn
            5)Diaz?

I think GGG and Bud have risen based more on accomplishments than great opponents. You rise either two ways-beating great fighters or having long runs and making good fighters look like crap which both have done very well. But I don't think either has a clearcut case over the other.

If GGG does win in September, the haters are going to have get quiet on this, though. A win over young Canelo trumps anything Bud's done.

Yeah, jumping weights is always a good decision, especially the one from 160-168.

Show me the 7 rounds he won cause you can’t fight was real close but the knockdown edged it 114-113
