This clown Hughie Fury turned down Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder and Anthony Joshua claiming the purses were not good enough with a world-title that came with it ; FAILED against the weakest titlist in Joey Parker and now Hughie is getting 25% of the pie in Bulgaria with Kubrat's size 15 boot straight up his Candy-Ass!!!

If Fury learned anything from his loss to Parker I'd give him a chance. On the other hand if he still thinks that he can win a fight without actually fighting he's doomed to disappointment.

          Good fight.

Hopefully Hughie learned from his fight with Parker. The talent is there, he looked in that league and not outclassed but just didn't throw enough and a bit inexperienced in big fights at that level. He's still only 23 and improving.

This is a good measuring stick for Hughie to see where he's at now.

Miller and Whyte can earn much bigger money elsewhere, Whyte did vs Parker, Miller will against Adamek.

Hughie Fury can't earn bigger money elsewhere whilst fighting on channel 5 with Hennessey.

            It's that simple.

he will need a KO or a few knockdowns to make sure.
Two loses to b list fighters will not help him in his career. At least at the highest level. Now on the commwealth level ok. He's lucky hes a fury.

Good job Hughie, just don't run for the whole fight.
Maybe hold off with the compliments until he's in the ring.

This is the same hughie that faked an injury 2 weeks out from parker fight, to avoid travelling to nz.

Not to mention that it'd be more than that outlay as both miller and Whyte will have higher guaranteed purses than the 25% of the winning purse .

It's **** business.. fury is going there because Hennessy couldn't even dream of winning a purse bid and it gives fury a shot at Mando when he's got no other avenue to go down at the moment.

Nobody is ever going to pay 75% of more than 1.5/6/7 million to pulev for their fighter to fight in Sofia.ever
Why would have any fighter have to go to Bulgaria if Hearn won the purse bid? Hearn could put the fight anywhere he wants. You have no idea how purse bids go by the way you're talking. Hearn talks about winning purse bids, but he's gonna have to pay up to fighters not associated to him if he wants those fights to put on DAZN. He could have had Pulev/Miller on DAZN a fight that actually means something instead of Adamek. It's all talk from Hearn and the money he's willing to spend to bring fights to DAZN.

The UK way of thinking. All of sudden UK fans only care about how much money a fighter makes instead of making fights. Miller vs Pulev would have made Miller the mandatory to AJs IBF if he won. Instead Hearn made Miller avoid the fight to fight some washed up fighter on DAZN, that Miller gets nothing out of it by winning. Lets be real, Hearn doesn't want any of his fighters that will launch DAZN to take on any top fighters. He wants to showcase them on their and build them up. It would be a disaster for Hearn if Miller, Vargas, Andrade and so on go on to lose in their first appearance on DAZN. Hearn wanted Andrade to take up tune up fights first like he's having Khan and Brook do before stepping up.

****ing hell... Noone in America is going to watch Whyte v Pulev and Hearn knows that.. it also means vastly overpaying a fighter in Pulev for little reward. You can't put it on PPV in the UK it wouldn't do 100k buys!!

Hearn bid 850k.. he beat pulevs own promoter ! They both lost to a relatively unknown party who bid nearly double what they did..with the sole intention of selling the territory rights for vastly inflated prices.

What is it about this instance that you don't get ?..it isn't good business to bid over 1.5 million for that fight , pay Pulev 75% of that and still pay Whyte his contracted guarantee on top of the 25 % remainder when you can't put it on PPV and all you do is lose money .

Hearn did the right thing by bringing in Parker for Whyte.. making it a WBO eliminator further strengthening whytes rankings ,plonking it on PPV because he knew it would sell well .. and it did. Over 400k buys.

As for miller.. the same as above. Miller is on guaranteed purses !! So you're chucking money at Pulev and for what? For a borefest and probably Pulev decision win on your opening show? With miller still contracted for X fights on insane money?

It's ****** business . Hence hennessy has gone right to Sofia for it with no arguments because he has zero money to win a bid and Hughie has no other avenues to go down in the division.
