Joshua Career vs Lewis Career : A REALITY CHECK

Lennox achieved most of his significant wins and impressive performances in the second half of his career. Others have already pointed out that Bowe ducked him, and he was going to fight Holyfield after Holy-Moorer I had Holyfield won. To me it's ballsy that Lennox rematched the guy who stopped him and tried to fight 2 great HWs in that time period. He didn't have a great early resume but showed the mentality that you'd expect from a future ATG.

How would you compare them pre-title fights? Better win, Razor Ruddock or Dillian Whyte?

Razor Ruddock was a better win but thats bc Whyte only had 15 fights himself .

Razor had switched trainers and took 2 brutal beatings vs Tyson , he also struggled against taller guys . Lewis did not fight the same Razor that Tyson fought .

To put this in perspective once again Lewis fought Razor in his 22nd fight ....Joshua is fighting a much more formidable Povetkin then the Razor Lewis had in the ring .


Lewis then fought Tucker well past his prime , we will see who Joshua fights after Povetkin !

1 . How each became a recognized champion

Lewis was given the WBC belt without actually fighting Bowe for it . Bowe gave it up and Lewis was declared the champion after his 22nd fight .

Joshua fought Wlad Klitchko in a unification fight . Joshua had already won a belt in his 16th fight and multiple belts were on the line against Klitchko . This was Joshuas only 19 th fight .

3 . Joshua has fought more prime top guys and if he defeats Wilder will become undisputed quicker then Lewis too in which took him NINE years .
