              Lewis was a champion.

He wanted to fight the best, and wanted to prove himself, really believed he was the best.

It seems less and less boxers have this type of mentality.

Lewis also went and fought in other people's back yard.

I like how the TS conviently left out that Lewis beat both Holyfield and Tyson.

Not for nothing but if you name your price (50 million in this case) and then won’t take the fight, that’s a clear duck.

1 . How each became a recognized champion

Lewis was given the WBC belt without actually fighting Bowe for it . Bowe gave it up and Lewis was declared the champion after his 22nd fight .

Joshua fought Wlad Klitchko in a unification fight . Joshua had already won a belt in his 16th fight and multiple belts were on the line against Klitchko . This was Joshuas only 19 th fight .

                    EDGE: Joshua

                    2 . TITLE DEFENSES

                    Lewis .

                    1 . Tony Tucker .

                    2 . Frank Bruno

                    3 . Phil Jackson

                    4 . Oliver McCall . LOSES in his 4th defence .

Goes about 2 and a half years without any major belt .

2nd Title defences after winning it back .

                    1 . Henry Akinwande

                    2 . Shannon Briggs

Thats where we stop bc that is where Joshua is at !

So this is a time span of 5 years Lewis has accumulated 6 title defenses and a K.O loss in between .

                    Joshua .

                    1 . Domonic Breazeale ( undefeated )
                    2 . Eric Molina
                    3 . Wlad Klitchko ( ATG )
                    4 .Carlos Takam
                    5 . Joe Parker ( undefeated ) A Title Holder
                    6 . A . Povetkin ( current challenger )

Joshua will have defended as a champion in 6 title defenses in just over 2 years and became unified champion about 4 years into his career less then half the time it took Lewis .

                    EDGE: Joshua

                    INTANGIBLES not including the criteria:

1 . Joshua has never lost as a pro .

Lewis was knocked out twice . In his 26th fight and 41st fight .

2 . Lewis main competition he fought late in his career , Holyfield and M. Tyson .

His win ( contraversial ) over Vitali was not as important over Joshua win over Wlad Klitchko bc Klitchko at his stage was in far better shape then 37 year old Lewis when he fought Vitali . So Joshua has already eclipsed Lewis best win .

3 . Joshua has fought more prime top guys and if he defeats Wilder will become undisputed quicker then Lewis too in which took him NINE years .

More impressive career: Joshua and its EASY to see !
In all of the years that I’ve been talking boxing... this is the most embarrassing post that I have ever read lmao. I can’t stop laughing at this **** lmao. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha lol...
