So, who do you consider to be the GOAT candidates? Personally, I consider these 4:

Lennox Lewis is an obvious candidate, being the H2H best heavyweight of all time.

Floyd Mayweather is undefeated through 50 fights and has one of the best resumes ever.

Sugar Ray Leonard made Duran quit like a loser and generally has a great resume. He should be in the conversation.

Roy Jones Jr. The guy was so great that I actually think he is the one I consider to be the GOAT. Prime Hopkins and prime Toney were truly elite wins.

Floyd was great for 20 years. No question about that. I choose Robinson over Floyd because he was also great for 20 years and fought all the time and faced everybody all year. They are equal, but Ray beats Mayweather because he took risks and had the balls Mayweather never showed. With all of his boxing brilliance, Mayweather never. Never. Took a single risk for his legacy. That's why he never makes GOAT lists.

Ali is one of the greatest personalities of boxing ever and he was definetely the best of his time, but I wouldn't consider him among the H2H best fighters, the game has evolved a lot today...

As for Sugar Ray Robinson, I respect him a lot, but it's ancient history. He wouldn't be one of the greatest fighters today.
