Not sure why Mikey gets the hate all the time, some people thought he was ducking Robert Easter because he moved up to fight Broner and Lipinets and then Mikey comes down to 135 when he didn't have to and beat Easter, give the guy a break, if the fights don't end up happening then that's one thing, but he just fought Easter.

Is "he can't take it in the body" the new racist codeword in the LDBC? Seems like every good European boxer is secretly a hypejob waiting to get exposed because "he can't take it in the body." GGG who at 36 years old has never been dropped or even visibly hurt by a body shot, and who just took body shots from two bigger guys Jacobs and Canelo, one of them on PEDs and one of them missing the IBF weigh-in, supposedly "can't take it in the body." Lomachenko who took an 11 pound bigger Salido's body shots and nut shots for 12 rounds, in his 2nd pro fight, but never got dropped and was actually the stronger guy down the stretch, "can't take it to the body."

The only one with some truth to it is Kovalev, and yet he's never been dropped to the body either, his "loss" to Ward in the rematch was on nut shots not body shots (still didn't drop him either), and his real issue has been stamina ever since the Chilemba fight - Chilemba is not a big body puncher - nothing to do with body shot weakness, just bad stamina in general.

But, hopefully Floyd believes this so that Tank can stop ducking Loma.

Yeah every Euro fighter is a hype job that’s going to get “exposed” (that’s the worst term in boxing) and when a non-euro gets beaten there’s reasons why but that fighter was seldom “exposed”, even the ones that are currently dominating and doing well have been imaginely exposed already.

Floyd isn’t hating on Garcia. I’ve seen him do a lot of interviews praising Mikey. Floyd is just stating the obvious and what a lot of boxing fans are thinking already, “just not yet Mikey.” Get a few welterweight fights under your belt, get more comfortable with that division, and then go after Spence.

The bigger thing I took out of what Floyd said was that Lomo can’t take body shots. I noticed that with Salido and Linares. And I was surprised Russell, Walters, and Rigondeaux didn’t attack his body as a strategy. Maybe because they were scared before they even entered the ring. But one thing I know about Mikey if he fights Lomo, he will go to that body all night. And it will be a more interesting fight than Spence.

Stop lying, nobody ever said he was ducking bum ass Easter. Mikey gets hate for talking so much yet has never stepped into the ring with a bonafide threat to him. Thurman, Crawford, Lomachenko, Cotto, and now Spence all got called out by Mikey but he fights guys like Easter and Lipinets.

Yes, turned down Linares x2, Gamboa, Cotto for various reasons, didn't fight Uchiyama when he was #1 at 130 and seemingly shows no desire to fight Loma or Bud. He will get a TON of respect if he fights Spence though. I don't think he will though.

He'll never fight Bud. There's the TR beef and also he's been vocal about Crawford's style before. He knows he'd either get crushed or completely shut out there.

I heard he turned down Wilder as well.. Your right Mikey is DUCKING him. 1000% agree with you. Mikey needs to step up and fight guys his size like Fury, Wilder, and AJ? Probably all in the same night if he wasnt such a P@ssy. They would all crush him or completely shut him out....
