My mistake, guys. I could have sworn that I read that somewhere. But I can't find anything stating that Wilder wanted a guaranteed Joshua fight, win or lose against Whyte. I really need to leave that crack alone...Please dont start making stuff up. In what world would he expect to get a fight with AJ if he lost to Whyte. Do you have a link or statement of Wilder saying that?...Of course not. And thats not the point i was making anyway. You said he wouldnt fight Whyte because of the risk he might lose. There is PROOF that he actually WOULD fight Whyte as long as it led to the fight he really wanted which was AJ and Hearn said NO. So that pretty much proves your statement false. You guys gotta do better smhComment

So now what do you have to say with regard to his wanting Whyte and Joshua after?Comment

Actually, Wilder doesn't want Whyte. He wants Joshua and will go through Whyte since Hearn wants that fight. It's sensible for him to want something in return, which is a guaranteed Joshua fight.
I have to say that I'm confused about Hearn's stance. At first, he refused to give Wilder a guaranteed fight with Joshua if he fought Whyte first. Now, he offers Wilder $15 million to face Joshua in April and threatens to put Whyte in his place if he refuses. I think maybe he wants Joshua to get a couple more fights under his belt, while anticipation of the fight with Wilder builds.Comment

At least you are real enough to admit it. Other posters would have kept going with it.Comment

I agree with you 100%. A lot of guys on the site figure thats what hearns wants too(wait for AJ to get better) but instead of just saying it, he decides to make lies and blame Wilder for the fight not happening and try to make it seem like WIlder does not want it. I get it. But a champion should be ready to fight whoever. But i understand Wilder is dangerous.Actually, Wilder doesn't want Whyte. He wants Joshua and will go through Whyte since Hearn wants that fight. It's sensible for him to want something in return, which is a guaranteed Joshua fight.
