GGG can be hurt to the body if you don't let him recover. You can tell some of the shots hurt or stun him to the body when he breathes in and shakes his head. The trick is to keep at it. GGG is mentally strong as far as getting hit but you have to keep at it to really hurt him. That's the problem, you can't expose yourself long enough to do the damage without getting countered.

You have to be relentless with GGG and keep backing him up, dominating while accepting his counter punches to really do damage.

Not true im a huge gennady fan and if he did indeed get knocked out I'd say its boxing one punch can change a fight. Maybe his punch resistance failed him after a combined amateur & pro career spanning 400 + fights that's a lot of mileage doesn't matter how granite chinned you are that's a lot of action.

Keep GGG on the backfoot the entire fight if possible

GGG swarms and cuts off the ring, if you go full aggressor and survive his ****, the least you can do is win on points

I don't understand the purpose of this.

You could've replaced Kovalev's name with virtually any other boxer but you chose Golovkin?

You know you don't have to put every single thought on a boxing forum...

Nah, the loser of that fight isn't close to being a 'bum'. They're two of the top guys around today.
Kovalev isn't remotely close to being a bum either.

Like others have said, Kovalev is a more vulnerable fighters than Golovkin who's been badly hurt and stopped before, whereas it's hard to recall occasions when Golovkin has even been stunned slightly, let alone badly hurt. He's never been dropped.

That said, just like the last time, this is the kind of fight where I think anything has a chance to happen, so I wouldn't rule it out entirely.

If anyone is in danger of getting stopped it's Canelo because his stamina is such crap.

Wow. I think G has more heart/character than Kov. I dont see that ever happening. Atleast not to Canelo.
