NOBODY on this boxing forum or any boxing fan in the entire world can say they would have done anything differently than Floyd in his last fight. They would have fought McGregor too. It was strictly a business decision. 300 million dollars for (1) fight and then you can ride off into the sunset. WE would have done the same thing.

But I also believe he could have gotten to 50-0 fighting a contender “right after” the Berto fight which was in 2015. I believe he could have trained hard (1) more time and pulled it off with his experience against a Porter, or Garcia, or a rematch with Manny. I really believe he could have decisioned any of those guys (1) last time. But I don’t believe he would have beaten Spence or Thurman because he was declining. He may have gotten embarrassed. But I wouldn’t put it past Floyd beating either of them because he was very smart inside the ring. Very battle tested and experienced.

But by the time he fought McGregor, he was out of boxing for almost (2) whole years. He basically made a business decision we all would have made if we can be honest. 300 million, let’s do it!!

Idk. Maidana, Gatti, dela hoya, Pacquiao, cotto, Canelo, corrales, hernandez, Hatton, Judah, mosley, Guerrero, Ortiz, Marquez. All these guys are multiple weight world champions who beat some really really good fighters. Quite a few hofers in there as well. And ppl will hate, but I bet you can't name another fighter with a resume like this.

This guy has fought nobody. He’s a complete bum. The 50-0 record is overrated and I’m a Floyd Fan. Those who criticize Mayweather McGregor clearly don’t understand business. Mayweather has a beaten a dozen current or future Hall of Fame Fighters: Hernandez, Castillo, Corralles, Gatti, Osar, Hatton, Cotto, Marquez, Mosey, Pacquiao, Alvarez, McGregor(lol). Only one wasn’t a boxer. However early in a boxers career they fight bums. Mayweather was World Champion by 21 and nearly every fighter he fought after that point was World Class or a Future Hall of Famer. We can’t forget that he fought top level opposition when he fought Ortiz, Guerrero, Mandredy, Judah, Baldomir. The only legit fighter he missed was Paul Williams and Margaritto l who were never Hall of Fame Talent.
