I wouldn't say shot just yet. However he is definitely on the decline and showing all the early signs of a shot fighter like: Loss of stamina, reflexes, the normal snap on his punches etc.

in other words, yeah, he’s shot. Hurts to say that, because as a fan, I wanted to see him get his due after the first Ward fight, but sadly, he is now finished at the top level.

He wasn't before the Alvarez fight, but he might be now.

He’s not shot Alvarez is just better.

Alvarez is a better all around boxer and can take a helluva punch, problem is these Kovalev fans only seen what they wanted to see.

Kovalev has always been limited he’s a stiff robotic boxer with a good punch and a weak punch resistance.

He is what he is and just encountered a better fighter.
