How about just not asking for a 50/50 split?

Povetkin vs Joshua will either look like Wlad vs Povetkin II or Joshua vs Parker II, depending on the ref.

I'm sure the British ref will keep Povetkin off of Joshua, but if not, Joshua will tie him up with no warnings from the ref. Joshua will also hold and hit illegally, like he did many times vs Parker.

Povetkin is nearly 40 yrs old, so AJ should beat him with ease. Both will probably be juiced up.

hahah Wilder's comments are so hilarious.

In fact, he's just saying what's on his own mind

I feel like some of the snap on his punches has gone too.

He's not the same Povetkin that was WBA champion. I feel he'll be a sitting duck for Joshua.

Watch him fight Price or Duhaupas for recent examples of Povetkin knocking out taller guys

I give wilder credit, he us starting to fight the dangerous fighters. Joshua is also taking a huge risk fighting povetkin. Regardless of who you like, they are both going into 50/50 fights imo

To be honest, this would be the weakest Povetkin. I cannot say he is in his prime, he still a good puncher and still has the experience but Joshua would be fighting him at the right time. He would be getting credit for beating him because he isn't too old or shot to pieces.

You can “ask for whatever you want” when you’re financing the event.
