could possibly be due to the concussion he suffered from a nasty headbutt to the back of his head in a fight that he was winning comfortably?

I agree. He looked very stunned by the headbutt and didn’t really recover. Whyte was there for the taking from 10t round but JP left it too late

I like Parker, he did try against AJ but AJ boxed well enough that night plus the referee didn't help either of them. V Whyte though, he looked like he didn't want to be there from about round 3-11. You can't give away that much rounds.

Apparently Joe didn't get the memo. once you lose in boxing you're a worthless piece of dog sh-t and should retire immediately. look at Roy Jones of all people (lol) telling Kovalev he's finished after being KTFO in a fight he was winning on all cards. Overreaction comes naturally to boxing fans.

Telling him to retire is crazy.
That's exactly right. Parker has fought the best competition from any active HW right now barring maybe Povetkin.

Parker's already made plans to retire at 30, he's already looking towards cashing out. I don't like it when fighters talk about retiring because every fighter that does coincides with them losing a step.

Three massive paydays in the UK back to back. Even after tax he would see £7m. So yeah i don't blame him.
