Comments Thread For: Mosley: In Their Prime, De La Hoya Better Than Mayweather

You're right but my point is a guy could be 33 and still be fresh if he fights 2 times a year then takes almost 2 years off. Age is not a determining factor in being a shot fighter or not that's for sure. Oscar wasn't that old but he was WAY past it. He was basically done after the Sturm fight years earlierComment

I don't think you can really argue with mosley here because when de la hoya did fight mayweather he was past his prime and only lost by a controversial split decision.
So going by that theory de la hoya was a better fighter...shame the deviant started jamming greased up spatulas up his dirtbox later on in life.Comment

take your tongue out of mayweathers jackpot and get a grip son.Comment

Even though Mosley was past prime, this was the fight
that turned Mayweather from toe-to-toe "PBF" fighter into the runner "Money."
Mayweather completely changed his style similar to Leonard after Duran 1 and Hector Camacho when he fought Edwin Rosario. That punched scared the hell out of him.Comment

Was there ever a doubt?! Of course Mosley is right.
JR came into an era of little prime elites. The good ones were past there prime but good ole Mayweather took advantage of that frauding the public with all his shlt to gain MONEY! As far as who’s better in there prime:
Who beats Mayweather
Mosley
ODH
SRL
HEARNS all Knock his skinny little mans asz OUT
Benitez by decision
Duran by KO
PAC by KO
Mayweather is nothing more than a mouth that farts with skills in an era lacking in prime elites and the few around he blatantly DUCKED.
He is rich no doubt due the fraudulent schemes in duping the ignorant public but being rich don’t make him a great fighter.
I thought we were thru with him hahahahahaha

That would've been a good one at lightweight. Mayweather also had good pop at the lower weight class but Mosely does have a point.Comment

The Mosley that beat the sh it out of Oscar had a good chance of beating Floyd. Whether that version was juicing well I don’t know.Comment
