Mayweather in his prime gives prime ali n prime sugar ray a fight n a damn good 1 floyd was transcendent to these guys n they knew he was coming they ran scared of floyd for years til de la hoya had no where to turn too arum was out of the picture who avoided floyd with his big name fighters floyd fought tough guys at 130 135 140 thats y he a legit lightweight got too welterweight n he dominated cause they were old n out of shape when floyd was the b side nobody fought him they acted like he didnt exist when became the a side they were fighting for paydays n floyd was licking his chops... De la hoya was garbage compared to floyd he beat the **** out of everybody on statistics every fight except when he tore his rotator cuff against castillio thats the only fight wasn't unanimous because fought with one arm n still got the job done 2nd fight he dominated castillio floyd was the best at hitting n not being hit back simple as that... against the likes of corrales 30-0 n tough guy Aturo gatti who floyd told he was a c class fighter stealing people money n he was floyd bashed him i remember watching buddy mcgirt try to pull his mouth peice out n couldnt get it so he stopped the fight floyd is 2 maybe 3 years younger than oscar so if he was out of shape thats his fault he should have stopped cross dressing snorting coke n should been in the gym... Oscar doesn't have the ring IQ to beat Floyd.

I get people hate Floyd on this site, but no version of De La Hoya beats Floyd.

So an old Oscar who had been through several high profile fights at that point in his career, loses the fight by one round on the cards, but there's no version of him who could beat Floyd? Sorry, that just doesn't make any sense.

However, out of most hypothetical scenarios I still see Floyd edging Oscar out. Oscar was damn close to beating Floyd, and was past his best when they fought (to the contrary, it wasn't Floyd's best fight either, nor was Floyd in his prime yet). So people forget Prime Floyd was not the one who fought Oscar. If you put a prime Oscar in, you are getting a different performance from a prime Floyd, in which case Floyd likely still edges Oscar out in most cases.
