    Pacquiao vs Thurman in December

Keith Thurman hasn’t fought since March of 2017. Pacquiao just had a KO win over Matthysse. If Thurman fights Pacquiao in December after an injury prone lay-off that lasted 1 year and 9 months, how would the fight go? Would Thurman have too much rust?

I think it’s a good fight for both to consider, even though it’s a gamble for both. Thurman gets a tune-up fight against a superstar like Pacquiao, who’s coming off a knock out win. Meanwhile, Pacquiao gets another shot a relevance if he beats Thurman.

yeah that would be a big fight, thurman wins easily though, probs knocks him out. pacquiaos not far removed from losing to horn and hes been getting worse and worse with every fight for a while now. Dont think people realise just how trash mattysse was as an opponent in that last fight, pacquiaos still a shadow of his former self

Think Pacquiao will fight Khan when the Khan/Brook fight inevitably falls through. Hearn has the Principality Stadium booked 2 weeks in December, 8th when Khan/Brook is supposed to happen. Also the weekend before, when Pacquiao says hes next fighting. Pacquiao the only one that could fill a UK Stadium.

Pacquiao doesn't need Thurman to be relevant. He is still a cash cow who everybody wants to fight for the money they make for fighting him. Thurman is a cautious boxer who will not go straight into Pacquiao without a tuneup or two. Ring rust might be overrated. Leonard didn't seem to have any when he fought Hagler and he had not had a fight in 3 or 4 years. I think Thurman is good but not exceptional. He just barely beat Garcia and Porter and I don't think either of them are exceptional either. If Thurman and Pacquiao fight each other in December I think it's an even 50/50 fight. I think Spence and Crawford would beat either of them and Spence would knock them both out.

I remember they were interviewing Spence, someone else and Keith Thurman
They asked them about the NFL and police brutality and Spence said that he's glad it's brought awareness..
Keith Thurman gave a pc answer and basically said "I just got back to America(he was out of the country for a bit) and then act like he didn't know that type of stuff existed. Haven't liked him since.

This fight would officially mark the end of Pac's career. Keith Thurman is too young, too skilled and too dangerous of a puncher.

I've read Pac has set a date for Dec 2nd for his next fight.

Also read, team Pac reached out to Mikey's team for this fight. Mikey seems focused on Spence though.

Thurman wants a tuneup... Pac isn't that.

Nah.. Keith is now run time Thurman...he hasn't knocked out or knockdowned anybody in a long time.

Out of Spence, Bud, Thurman... Pac has his best chance against Keith.

I doubt Thurman would say yes.
                    "I need 3 tuneups first."
