Kov's punch resistance isn't the problem. Shot he got caught with would buzz most, and then he kept on getting hit.

The problem is him getting hit with punches that shouldn't be connecting and not knowing what to do. He got dropped and instead of tying up tried to continue fighting a distance when his timing was off; that resulted in him getting tagged more.

He's probably done at this point. At 36 his endurance isn't going to get better. Anyone fighting him will look to keep him busy in thw first half and get adventurous in the second half.
