Alvarez is 34 and kov is 35. I doubt Alvarez will make more than 1 defence and i doubt kov will ever be the same kov he was in his prime and even then he was 31/32. This is bivols time

          interesting comments from Jones

he can say whatever he likes, period

Roy admitted that he was shot years back (after the Lebedev fight?)..... but said that he is a fighter and has no interest in doing anything else

like I said, Roy can say whatever the F he likes..... and all he said is that Kovalev is done at the top level

          we will see

I saw Kovalev breathing very hard after round 4 and thought that could be a problem. He just wasn't in the same shape for this fight.

it's good that Jackson won't be getting the blame this time around

Try boxing with your hands down. You’ll find out you have a glass jaw too

I'm curious to see how Kovalev will be remembered and how differently his career might have gone if the first Ward fight was scored in his favor
He was never a HOF. That Adonis fight not happening messed both of their careers up.

Roy admitted that he's shot, and he eventually began fighting the appropriate type of opponents for a shot fighter to beat. Kovalev may not be able to admit the truth to himself, even after last night. We'll see who Kovalev decides to blame in the coming days & weeks. There is no John David Jackson to be his scapegoat anymore.
