Don King could soon have the #1 ranked heavyweight

If Trevor Bryan gets by BJ Flores next week, he'll be #1 in the WBA before long. AJ fights Povetkin. Loser moves beneath Bryan. Oquendo fights Charr. Loser moves beneath Bryan. Miller fights Oquendo/Charr winner. Loser moves beneath Bryan. It'll be 2019 and Don King will have the #1 ranked heavyweight in the world. Amazing.

Not only that I saw king promoting someone pretty good either last week or a few weeks before that can’t remember who for some reason.

Why the hell is BJ Flores fighting in an eliminator? The two guys he's fought since moving up to Heavyweight have a combined record of 39-24. The WBA is screwed up.

        What weight class?

Is Bryan any good? I don't think I've seen him.

Been a loyal WBA fighter since 2011.

Recently won the NABA heavyweight championship, making him the WBA's champion of North America, and thus, a very highly ranked contender.

              lmao.

They still have Thurman as their ww champ. Floyd Mayweather and Andre Ward have each fought more recently than Thurman has. The WBA has sunk to the level of the WBO. Maybe even lower... if that is even possible.

Interesting. So is it possible that he could become Joshua's mandatory within the next year or so?

Yes, very possible, but also possible he could become the mandatory for the winner of the Charr/Oquendo vs Big Baby fight.

Hard to predict what the WBA will do. Will they ever order the super champion to face the world champion? Impossible to say.
