Wlad was legendary. Don’t let anyone tell you he wasnt just because he didnt have that “thing” in common with any of the other names mentioned, and that’s being American. If Wlad was american and ruled with impunity for damn near a decade we’d be singing a different tune in america about hw boxing and that’s just being honest.

Ward finding out Kovalev wasnt that hard of a puncher? He got dropped the first fight..clean.

It was more of Ward being forced to do that (fight that way) and was able to get away with some things that, although illegal, stood (Ward was doing his thing, if the ref doesnt stop it that’s a different problem).

Stop getting bothered by what fighters say...much less a f uckin’ Russian who’s killed a man in the ring and has gone on about his business and become wildly successful and great in his division AFTER the fact. He’s a fighter not a politician. I hate to say it but not all trainers are created equal and beyond that, not all fighters thrive...even under the best trainers. Kov and Jackson had been strained even during and before the Ward fights. Boxing wasn’t “wronged” what kind of Shakespearean poetic justice are you looking for? A guy paid for services he was unhappy with. Get over it.

And wlad never “traded” like he was Holyfield lr somethin wtf lmao. His entire game plan was the opposite. His approach WAS different, but it got him KOd multiple times. He had an amazing trainer who then went on to fix that issue and make him one of the most dominant Heavyweights in history

What people didn't see was Alvarez hurt him to the body which set up the overhand right. Kov never did learn to fight inside and that's why he lost by brutal ko, lmao. Blame your trainer this time front runner.

All Kov needs is a new trainer and he will be ok. Blame this new guy and get a new trainer. Can't take a body shot, and can't take a chin shot when he needs to.

On a serious note: Thanks Kov. You gave us some good fights. It's over. The losses will only get worse if you fight on.

I don’t mean the last punch or the stoppage either I mean early on when he gave no warnings. If he does his job Ward changes his tactics slightly and it’s a different fight.
It was getting to the point that Ward was running after Kov. And I didn't see any low blows to the ***els. Nobody did except Kovs fans and I don't say that to sound facetious. Body shots tired Kov and he was a sitting duck.

Maybe he should’ve stayed with and listened to his old trainer.

Kov just can't take body shots or cover his body well or roll with body shots. His way of getting away from a guy who stands in front or a stalker is to just keep throwing punches. At some point you have to rest, go on the inside even if you don't punch and let the other guy wear himself down a bit. Kov just keeps on punching and punching and he loses power and stamina. That style has caught up with him.
