  • Don't be surprised if Wilder ends Fury early

While Fury is very skilled, he's never been a durable fighter even at 100%.

Fury has been floored hard by over hand rights against both Cunningham & Pajkic both times in the 2nd round. He's also been hurt by guys like Chisora, Abell, & one of the few punches Wlad was able to land.

I'm just saying before the excuses come rolling in which I know they will.

Fury cannot game plan for Wilder unlike Wlad who is the complete opposite of Wilder in terms of style. This fight will end horribly for Fury.

I'd be surprised IF Fury lasts more than 3rds.

The guys who knocked him down are not power punchers by any means.

Cunningham had just 1 stoppage victory at HW in his entire run, he couldn't even put away guys like Gavern. His Ko ratio is somewhere around the 50% range

Pajkic's knock out ratio is just 30%

Wilder is arguably the hardest puncher in the history of boxing and his money punch is the right hand. His KO ratio is 97% with only Stiverne going the distance due to Wilder breaking his right hand

Wlad hit him flush with a shot that usually hurt guys and Fury shrugged it off. I think Fury can take a shot, he definitely isn't chinny anyway even if he has been dropped. Froch supposedly had a granite chin but still got dropped by Taylor who was a Middleweight not long before that, yet took flush shots from bigger punchers and bigger guys. Ali got decked by some fighters who were nowhere near as big a puncher as some of his other opponents that couldn't drop him. People look too much into it at times. The right shot can put anyone down. It's how you get up from it.

Wilder is just such a big puncher that he's going to crack basically anyones chin with the right shot. I think it's largely irrelevant where on the scale your chin is v Wilder.

The reason i always liked this fight is because i think (prime) Fury is the one HW that can probably negate Wilder' right hand for longer than any other HW can and outbox him. Besides, when he's fully focused and switched on in a fight, he's hard to land clean on.

Boxing is a funny game. Chisora has knocked out Malik Scott and Takam and he isn't considered a puncher, yet some real punchers couldn't do what he did to them.

I agree with you 100%. Wilder is a bad matchup for Fury, especially right now. I think Fury gets knocked out in the first 5 rounds but if it does go late I doubt he has the stamina and the reflexes to hold off a very athletic and powerful guy for 12 rounds. Klitschko is a better boxer than Wilder but styles make fights and Wilder is just wrong for Fury style wise.

Wilder hits with much more speed and power than either of them. I don't think Fury can handle Wilder's straight right. I think Wilder shatters that glass and ends that big blowhard's career. Fury's fragile ego can't handle a KO defeat. He gets depressed just being rich and famous and the heavyweight champion of the world.
