I disagree, Wilder getting outboxed by Fury wouldn’t be anything to be ashamed of and I think people (possibly more people than ever) would tune in to watch him fight in the future even if he loses because he’s an exciting fighter. Fury may be 80% but a win’s a win and a loss is a loss. I expect him to come at least 80%, he will be six months, 2 fights, and three training camps into his comeback, and he looks to be in pretty good shape already from some recent videos I’ve seen.

My only real concern about this fight is if somehow Wilder gets an early (like 1st or 2nd rd) KO, I think that could potentially send Fury off the rails.
Wilders resume cant afford a loss to anyone not at their best , lets look at his top 3 wins .

1 . Ortiz . A 48 year old that Wilder was saved by the bell.

2 . Washington . A 19 fight green boxer with no amateur experience and was out boxing Wilder until he got caught .

3 . Stiverne . In fight one went 12 and never defended his title once .

Now a loss to Fury ? Sorry but that will look terrible for Wilder .

Fury has a win over Klitchko , thats enough to get him a pass while losing in a fight a bit to early to take .

Aj has furys belts which he never lost in the ring. all positives in this situation for wilder IMO
why target an unfit fury when AJ and whyte are available?

Wilder will get no glory for this fight. This fight is as good as me challenging wilder.

Of course the Wilder vs Fury fight is better at least on paper so this is common sense as its a 50/ 50 fight .
if an unfit fury is matched at 50/50 to wilder, that's shows how terrible wilder is.
            It should be a 70/30 match-up.

If Wilder had put on and lost 130lbs, I'd say he was done. But physical prowess was never Fury's forte - being a 6'9 boxer was - so he is not dead in the water. If Fury loses, he will still fill a stadium fighting AJ.

Well Fury is still better then most believe and you have to look at the ACTUAL Wilder title fights .

Not one fight suggests hes good enough to be a overwhelming favorite , hes not even the favorite now .

The Fury fight coming up will tell us more but overall evidence suggets that Wilders one trick wonder which isthe reliance of finding a right hand and enough of them will be difficult against a guy who he need to K.O and Furys 85 inch reach could easily avoid it .

The tv viewerahip will dictate it.

Fury beats AJ in TV everytime.

I cannot guarantee fury avoiding that right hand for 12 rounds but first things first. Let's see what happens after Aug 18.
