            This was laughable:
"You’ve seen the power I carry late on in the fight and I know he would not be able to deal with it.”

I can't believe those words fell out of his mouth. This from the guy that had to clench to secure a win over Joseph Parker who isn't considered as a heavy handed boxer.

I was starting to like Whyte, but then he opened his mouth.

Wilder is the most dangerous HW out there hands down, just look at the latest fights and who he's targeting. No other HW is taking those risk, Fury has a big name, Wilder is out to prove his critics wrong so he's looking to improve his resume.

Regardless of belts, the most dangerous fighter is always the top of food chain.

Sorry but AJs past lackluster performances drove his stock down in my eyes.

My opinion? Wilder doesn’t want AJ, he wants a retirement payday and the money and conditions have to reflect the risk he’s taking because he has barely taken a risk so far (Ortiz excepted). $15m one off or 40-50% of the pot with a rematch clause if he loses? He expects to lose, I feel, so it absolutely has to be the latter.

Someone with a long term plan to stay in boxing would have signed the contract and got themselves in a position for bigger and better paydays by winning. Instead of leaving the contract with 2 points unclarified for a number of weeks.
What risks has Joshua taken (Klitschko excepted) ? Are Charles Martin, Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker, and Dominic Brezeale so much better than Gerald Washington, Bermane Stiverne, Chris Arreola, and Artur Spilzka?

Wilder was also scheduled to face Povetkin, so it isnt like he ducked him. Guy got popped for steroids. Regardless Wilder showed up for the fight.

Neither of these guys are currently ATGs. Neither of these guys have sought out the toughest of fights. Both of these guys are each others biggest threat, and largest payday. Wilder is crazy thinking he deserves 50%, but Joshua/ Hearn are crazy thinking he is only worth 15 flat AND turning down a 50 million guarantee with PPV upside.

Wilder wants "retirement money" and the money has to reflect the risks? sounds like a prize fighter to me. Joshua obviously sees Wilder as a risk and wants the money to reflect that risk too. Otherwise he would have given up more cash to make the fight happen and get the biggest payday of his career.

Or better still, someone confident of victory would have signed the contract for the 50 million they asked for (that's right. 50 million that THEY ASKED FOR), getting by far the biggest payday of their career, gotten the last belt left, and gone down as an ATG.

See... this stuff works both ways.

Whyte is such a dumb ass he flunked math in HS. Let’s see Tyson Fury has 19 KO’s in 26 fights which gives him a 73% KO percentage. Whyte only has 17 KO’s in 24 fights which is a 68% KO percentage.
I guess Fury actually hits harder than you, British Dummy..GTFOH!!!....LOL!!!!

And I guess Ortiz who is at 78% can’t hit hard either. And I guess when Wilder fought Stiverne the first time, he couldn’t hit despite at the time having 21 KO’s out ot 26 fights, then a 80% KO percentage. Or when Wilder fought Arreola back in 2016. At that time, Arreola had 31 KO’s in 41 fights which was around a 75% KO percentage.

And anyone can be knocked out in the HW division by anybody. They are all big guys that can drop you if they hit you flush. So it’s foolish to even make that argument British Dumb Ass!!!!

And the last time I checked Whytes career resume, he only has (1) current name with over a 70% KO percentage age; the other British Dummy-Joshua. If Wilder fights Fury, that’s a total of (4) fighters he got into the ring with that had over a 70% KO percentage to Whytes (1) opponent. Don’t throw rocks from a glass house British Dummy!!!!!

                    • Maybe Whyte/Wilder should happen before Breazeale... but I'll take Whyte/Fury, Whyte/Joshua, Whyte/Breazeale any day. And BTW, for Wilder to be fighting Breazeale next, when Whyte is obviously better and I believe higher ranked... just maybe it's true Wilder is leery of meeting the stronger challenge. And please don't bring up 'bbbbuuuttt Joshua (fill in the blanks)'. There's enough blame to go around with the Joshua/Wilder matchup. I don't remember so much posturing with high profile fights back in the 60s/70s, so maybe this is just a sign of the times. Who knows. I just want the top guys to fight each other. Hopefully the best fights happen WHEN they're supposed to happen, not 2 to 5 years too late.

And as for Fury/Wilder? I think Fury will give Wilder all kinds of problems, and I really hope that fight happens. I think Fury out slicks Wilder for a UD.
