Huge dilemma for Showtime on who's going to fund this fight with potential $100 million in guarantees for both fighters. It would have to sell more than 2 mil in PPVs.

Showtime will be losing millions if they can only sell 1 million PPVs.

Tyson Fury is Wladimir Klitschko's papi.

He is still undefeated and the lineal heavyweight champion of the world.

Being able to beat him would be a huge statement for Wilder.

I'm still not convinced. He was also signed to rematch Wlad. Fury could very well chicken out AGAIN, and go back into hiding and crying. Or he could fail another ped test. He has tested dirty three times, and kicked testers out refusing to give a sample another time. This isn't like Canelo who has been enrolled in VADA testing for years and only failed one test. Tyson has a short pro career, but a rather lengthy wrap sheet for failing tests.

I hope the fight gets made and actually happens, but Fury could change his mind or decide to cheat at any given time.

Still, Fury does realize the entire world is laughing at the U.K. for AJ's unabashed cowardice. "I'll sign a contract in one day for $50 million." Wilder says ok, deal, and AJ comes back with "Nah, I was just kidding, I don't want to fight you." The most obvious duck in the history of boxing.

Fury didn't actually fail a test. It was trace amounts. When you go over a certain level, then you fail a test. Fury was under that level.

Canelo has only just recently signed up to Vada. He refused it before but was forced to by failing 2 drug tests.

Fury at his best wouldn't be equal to a Joshua fight, let alone be much bigger. Joshua was guaranteed 50 mill, Fury won't come close to earning that much. And Fury is at the worst he's ever been in his career, so a win right now is worthless. But Wilder is desperate to convince the sheep that he's legit when his career proves he's nothing of the sort. Haha.

Regardless, it will make some real $$$. With AJ basically admitting he is afraid of Wilder, combined with the whole U.S. vs. U.K. angle, the first American hw champ in a decade, undefeated who has ko'd every opponent he has fought, the lineal belt, and the WBC belt, and Fury being an obnoxious loud mouth, and this fight will truly be a mega-fight.

Fury looks too much like **** for it to be anywhere near close to a "Mega fight". Stop deluding yourself. You look desperate, just like your pathetic hero Wilder.

AJ is a 20 to 1 favorite against Povetkin. Where are the threads about this fight? Nobody cares.

While Wilder & Fury's every move gets thread after thread after thread.

Wilder vs. Fury is the biggest heavyweight fight of the year and the winner ends up with a ton of leverage. They'll have the most important belt and they'll be the lineal champion. And the only option for AJ if he wants to be recognized as the real champion.

So you judge the interest in either fight by an American boxing site?
