Yeah and after a headbutt like that to the side of the head it isn't just the scorecards that are out of wack.

Parker deserves a rematch, he won the first round easily and was winning the second too right up until the headbutt. Parker was clearly the better fighter but was affected for several rounds by the obvious foul. In a rematch Parker wins easily, probably knocks Whyte out.

I'm not surprised with it being DUCO. But no, nothing will come of this. Nor should it. Whyte won the fight, end of.

If I were Parker I'd be more pissed off about Whyte clutching onto the ropes to survive the end of the 12th when he was clearly going down for the count. But then again JP just doesn't seem to have the killer instinct to take him out. He showed he had the skill and power to KO Whyte but only applied it way too late in the fight. It's your fault Parker, live with it, learn from it, and move on. Trying to squeeze a *DRAW* out of something you didn't even complain about during the fight is pretty pathetic.
Parker didn't really have enough in the tank to finish Whyte off anyway. He was very tired himself. But Whyte did what he should have done... Tie Parker up and don't let him get shots off. It was a well deserved win.

But either way you look at it, that headbutt knockdown has determined a different outcome and that's not right

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. Surely they have to acknowledge it wasn't a real knockdown, because it wasn't. I suppose they will just say that referee's have a hard job and it was difficult to see in real time and the decision still stands.

they won't want to open a can of worms by reversing decisions over bad knockdown decisions because appeals will start flooding in all the time over refereeing mistakes.
Nobody saw the headbutt until the replay. I certainly didn't. Can't blame the ref for that. It just happens like that sometimes.

Parker wasn't effected in the slightest. He never put his glove to his eye or show discomfort in any way. So don't try and make excuses for him, he didn't.

I know it angered you to see Whyte win, but if they rematch, Whyte wins in a more one sided fashion.

It was scored a knockdown because the ref didn't see the head-clash. Neither did I until the replay.
