" Eddie Hearn, the most progressive and most exciting promoter in the world," This must be a different Eddie Hearn than the one BoxingScene has been covering. This is what comes to mind when I think of Eddie Hearn: O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive!

I guess he's only viewed as honest because the comparison is Finkel and Warren but then Satan would look honest compared to those two they must spend half there lives in court with their fighters.

It's a promoters job to spin so its a bit of a used salesman job.

Why? Joshua v Wilder aside- and we all have different viewpoints on who is to blame there- Hearn has delivered big fights on big stages.

To such an extent that it won’t harm Joshua’s career in the slightest if he doesn’t end up fighting Wilder until late 2019. Joshua will still have big fights against top fighters in the division.

The only people who don’t see this is Wilder fans, who expected the AJ fight to be delivered to them on a silver platter, and are placing no blame- zero- at the feet of Wilder and Finkel and the rest of their team for the fight not happening. Which is ridiculous.

Can’t see Usyk being as interested in Bellew if the offer is Cruiserweight. Which Bellew said it would be. From what I understand Usyk is looking to transition to HW next fight, so beating Bellew at CW would do nothing for his career in those circs and would actually be a backward step.

I think basically after that, then fight just fell through . There's bigger fish to fry.

Finkel is not, nor to my knowledge has never been, a boxing promoter.

But don’t let the facts get in the way of your story.

Would make sense. Fighting Bellew at Cruiser makes no sense, unless he had no intention to move up.
