    Usyk vs Luis Ortiz

Now that Usyk is boxing’s only Undisputed Champion, should he do what Terence Crawford did after he became Undisputed and move up.

Both Usyk and Ortiz are 6 ft 3 in tall and both have a reach of 78 in.

It would be interesting to see what Usyk looks like at Heavyweight.

I would seriously believe that Ortiz would land only under 20 punches in the whole twelve rounds. TRULY I believe that. Or get stopped with landing only 15-16 punches.

I like usyk and ortiz so I dont really want them to fight

But I would favor Ortiz on this if he can KO usyk early. The longer the fight goes the better for Usyk and maybe a late TKO for him

usyk schools ortiz! usyk is quicker younger and has much better boxing skills than the cuban. usyk wins by UD! beating him easier than beyonce wilder did.

It would be a brilliant move for usyk. If he can dispose of Ortiz within 4-5 rds, which he probably can at this point, cuz that bum Ortiz just fought shouldn't even be in an 8 round fight, let alone Showtime.

Usyk would likely be 210-215lbs, while Ortiz is a sturdy 240lbs. You add that Ortiz is a monster puncher at heavyweight, while Usyk may only have solid pop at 200lbs, and I'd advise him to ride out 200lbs for as long as he can physically and wait for a shot at the undisputed heavyweight championship.

Usyk probably wins but the only way Ortiz is stopped is if he coughs up a lung trying to keep pace.

Usyk would shut him out IMO. Ortiz has power and good technique but a lot slower. Usyk would just be too quick, too versatile and too busy.

I'd actually like to see Usyk do 12 more months at cruiserweight. He is in a good spot. He can fight Bellew in the U.K, make a lot of money and raise his profile and then K2 can get him back on HBO/US tv which can help raise the cruiserweight divisions profile (this division has produced great fights for years) and get people beyond just the hardcore talking about him. Tabiti could be a natural fight in Chicago (local fighter vs. undisputed champ and a Ukraine population in the city) and then Briedis II perhaps in NYC.

Then in 2020 hopefully Wilder-Joshua-Fury have all settled their thing, have all the belts and Usyk will be on a collision course (hopefully taking 3-4 fights to build up in the division) with the champ.

One of those interesting fights that will likely never happen as the fight makes absolutely no sense politically.
