The vast majority of YOUNG boxers do this while they are young for good reason. So they can secure a division before moving up. They eventually allow their bodies into the natural weight. Otherwise there’d be no training camps for the vast majority. Almost all great young boxers did this. As they grow older their bodies are unable to do this as it creates damage to the muscles. Boxers do it, wrestlers do it and it’s not changed for over 100 years. So again I say what is with the “weight bully” term? It’s jeuvenile and used by the truly ignorant in boxing

Hands down Mikey is the more seasoned, experienced, skilled and fundamentally sound of the two. If there is VADA testing and if Mikey can get himself the right kind of strength and nutrition coach, then anything is possible.

What's with all the hate on Mikey wtf. Go goes old school like Duran wanting to go up 2 weight classes and fight the best. Instead of getting props he gets criticized. Like Clint Eastwood said this generaton nowadays have become nothing but *******. Also when Manny went up 2 weight classes it was all right same with Crawford. Mosley also dominated 135 and cleaned out the division. Garcia and Loma should happen at 135 before Garcia thinks about Spence, but these damn promoters once again prevent fights we want to see.
