Of course he is willing to face munguia for the world title... He wants to become a world champion and he almost got killed by facing a charlo already,

Where was all this energy towards the other Champs at 154? Munguia looks a little ordinary in his last fight and all of a sudden here comes J "from up under a" rock out the blue begging to face the weakest champ in the division. He wants no parts of Hurd, Lara or Charlo though. Bltch move..

I'd fancy a Munguia vs Brook not J-Rock boring azz

This would be a very good fight. Williams is a bigger version of Sadam Ali but I have a hard time seeing this get made.

I see a guy like Kamegai or Teixeira getting Munguia next. This is a showcase fight at best. There will be no real threat in this fight for Munguia.

Why would Zanfer or Golden Boy want to put in Munguia versus a legit threat on this under card? This would be his 4th fight in 8 months. It wouldn't make a bit of sense to burn this young gun out already.

They can "protect" Munguia all they want , sooner or later he has to face a LIVE body.
Once you become a belt holder there is no escaping that!!

You cannot make a star out of nothing.

If he is the goods it will show. If he is not it will also show.

JRock will be a good first start.

My current reading of him is he is "fun to watch" but nothing special.
Time will tell how far he goes.
