Now: Fury is fighting Pianeta on Aug 18, at Windsor Park (Belfast)... Windsor Park is a stadium, right?... this means that, as we speak, Fury has to sell about 20,000 seats...

So you believe after beating Fury which I believe you will do he deserves 50% even though Joshua would have knocked out the 3rd best heavyweight in boxing? I mean don’t get me wrong if he does that’s good it’s not my money but I don’t think he will
I think he will deserve 50 because Fury is a name among UK fans, no one knows who Povetkin is outside of the tightest of boxing circles. And Povetkin is not the 3rd best HW. Either Fury or Ortiz can claim that right now.

Right now, it looks like he already ducked. If you add to the equation that Wilder beat a named guy who is the best possible opposition then Joshua has to be more fair in his negotiations

They can claim it but as it stands August 1st 2018 Povetkin is the 3rd best Heavyweight. I have only seen him fight once so it’s not about what I think. The whole flat fee and percentage I agree with you they have to come reasonable but not 50/50 but then again who am I to say another fighter doesn’t deserve 50/50.

The buildup will be so mental and crazy it will bring in the casuals, I see a global 1m Ppv buys and a sold out stadium.

Strange thing is; if Fury is foxy and evasive, Wilder will be UD’d and Johnson doesn’t get his mega payday!

I wouldn’t even be mad if fury cleared up ... it would make a hell of a film !

                  • Fury vs Wilder is a great fight and Joshua can just watch

Fury is a man's man and would fight Wilder in the USA says a lot about the man Fury is. I know Fury is a coke head and is out of shape but agreeing to fight Goofy Wilder in the state speaks volumes about Fury being a man. Joshua wants to play games and talk crap while Fury speaks loudly. Great fight with Fury beating goofy Wilder off a decision.

Perception is reality, and if Fury is perceived as #3 by the public that outweighs the guy no one knows. I think a concussive KO by Wilder builds his profile in the UK and puts pressure on Joshua. His profile in the states is building since Stiverne 2, so declining 50/50 with a guaranteed 50 mil upside for Joshua will hurt Joshua's image. Wilder might concede to a 60/40 at that point, but it's still much more than the crap offer he's getting now.
