Thanks for the correction. However, I was referring to where it all began prior to the Marquess of Queensberry Rules which was in London England from the 16th and 18th centuries after the fall of the classical era in which you were referring to. In any case, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

So now we know the British Dummy Joshua was the one that was really scared to fight Wilder. Kudos to both Ortiz & Fury for stepping up and having the balls to fight him instead of running and making excuses or making ridiculous low ball offers.....GTFOH!!!!

Good fights will do that. The bad memories of the Joshua/Wilder negotiations have now been erased. Anthony I want you to know that it was never personal. As a boxing fan. I just want to say I am sorry on behalf of myself for any bad feelings I may have caused to yourself and all British fans alike. I just want to see the best fights out there available that can be made. While this Fury/Wilder may not be the best match up that can be made at this time; Yet it's still a pretty good consolation prize for us true boxing fans.

Fury is a warrior, he was calling out Wlad for years when Wilder wanted nothing to do with him.

                  • If he teaches a boxing lesson and then punches Pianeta out of the ring, Wilder will run a mile

No, I am not a Brit. However, I can respect the hell out of you guys though because the fervor, zeal and enthusiasm you all have for the sport of boxing is second to none and the likes of which I've never seen before. For example: The atmosphere at the 02 arena this weekend for that Parker vs Whyte card was just simply amazing!
