Mikey walks around near 170lbs and he was much heavier than Easter on fight night. Loma walk around weight is around 138lbs so their is a huge difference in weight! Look at the pic they took together! Mikey looses a lot of weight to make 135. Wet know Mikey likes to talk to generate buzz for his fights but now let's see if he continues talking now that all the time frames line up with Spence.

How the *** does Loma walk around at 138 when thats been his UNOFFICIAL weight against Russell Jr. when he was a FW back in 2014. This dudes a fkn MORON...

Mikey Garcia UNOFFICIAL weight against Roman Martinez was 142. He was also a Jr LW.

Lomachenko was 138 unofficial as a Featherweight.

142-138 = 4 lbs.

JR. LW 130 - Featherweight 126 = 4 lbs!!!

I would watch it, if it's not a PPV. Manny has been saying for years that he can make 135! He says he has to force feed himself to make 147. I would rather the fight @ 140, because Manny will be 40 in December, but if Manny thinks he can do it, then I say GO FOR IT! What I don't want to see happen is Crawford vs. Pacquiao! That's just evll!

If Pac can make 135 and be healthy and strong then go for it. But his last fight he looked GREAT for his age at 140.

Manny is a more winnable fight than Spence. I really like Mikey and get that he wants to get a ww title so he can have a title in a 5th division and then he feels he is the best p4p fighter in the world.

Respect that but I'd prefer he'd go on ESPN and lobby hard for a Loma fight. Bob isn't going to do it but at least put pressure on him. No reason that the 2 of them shouldn't fight each other after Loma unifies with Beltran.

After that, then the Spence/Manny potential fights would be bigger and as fans we will have seen 2 of the top 5 guys in the world fight.

Loma has 2 choices. ONE: Manny Pacquiao! Manny has said he wants Loma MANY times now! I think even @ 140, Loma should be able to beat a 40-yr. old Pacquiao! If Loma ducks Pacquiao, then option TWO: Beltran. Were kind of dismissing Jose Pedraza aren't we? Beltran is supposed to face Pedraza on the 25th, if I'm correct? Lastly, I think people are crazy if they think Mikey is going to let Bob Arum, the guy who robbed him, and made him miss 2 years of boxing, dictate to him anymore. Loma would have to come to Showtime for that azz whooping, just like Pacquiao had to go to Showtime for Floyd! That's NOT happening! Mikey will take his chances with Spence Jr., and then I think he'll return to 140 for Prograis, Baranchyk, or Reilkh, if either wins the WBSS!

I'm not sure it's a case of Loma "ducking" Pac. He just arrived at 135 one fight (2 months) ago. I think it's hard to duck someone who is two divisions apart and I haven't heard Loma really talk about that fight. If Pacquaio comes down to 135 and Loma refuses to fight him then sure, but until then it's a bit premature to label especially since Pac has all but said he won't fight again in 2018 and Loma is currently sidelined after surgery and a serious injury. I think it's clear he's fighting the Beltran-Pedraza winner next in December. Not a great fight but a unification fight and Beltran is still a better fighter than Easter who Mikey is getting a ton of praise for beating.

Pacquaio-Floyd was a joint HBO/SHO card. It wasn't showtime exclusive.

When fans become fans/haters of promoters it can cloud judgement and thinking too much.

My posts is about beating Spence or Manny and why IMO he is going after either. Yes, I think Manny's WBA belt is bogus. That said, he is fighting and Thurman isn't.

Only idiots like you have these silly criteria for whether to give credit or not. Obviously he gets more beating Spence than Manny because Spence is the much better fighter right now. But he would get credit for beating Manny.

I'm fine with your opinion. I just prefer to see Mikey/Loma then I do a Mikey/Spence, Mikey/Manny or Loma/Manny fight because it cleans out a division and is a fight between 2 of the 5 best in the world IMO.

It's 2 evenly matched guys that would produce a better fight IMO than the others.

A mikey/loma fight is very winnable for Loma. The problem is if he loses where does he go? Up to 140 to face Ramirez and Prograis?

135 may be the max for Loma. He is 30 years old so this is probably the top weight class for him. After Beltran and possibly Manny in a CW fight,then things get interesting. Hopefully some of the top guys at 130 will move up to give him a challenge.

Concur. That's why I believe Arum will be hesitant to put Loma in the ring with Mikey.
