Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: If Anyone Deserves To Face Wilder Next - It's Fury!

THE CONCLUSIONS I drew from watching the heavyweights go at it on Saturday night all came back to one man, a certain Tyson Fury. As someone in the game of promoting fights and plotting careers, when I watch the business end of shows my thoughts always come back to assessing the form for my own fighters.

    Warren showing how it’s done

Inviting Wilder to Belfast and probably allowing him in the ring to hype a future fight unlike some UK promoters & fighters

Please sign this fight, get it done... The trashtalking alone would be worth the PPV.

Thank you Fury and Warren. Fearlessness is what we expect from champions. Not that BS Hearn and Joshua have been peddling. Get it done gentlemen.

Warren is a typical promoter, doing his job well. Not wanting his fighter to be sidetracked or forgotten in the mids of Whyte,Parker,Takam, chisora. He throw his fighters name out there so you know he is still above those names... And i agree, a fit fury is still the man to beat.

I'd love to see the build up to this fight. It feels like it might be too soon for Fury but maybe he's shed alot more weight and is really getting it in.

If the Fury v Wilder is made I wonder would BT be happy that another big fight is happening in America

To my mind, if anyone deserves to be fighting Wilder for his WBC world title it is Tyson. The likes of Whyte and Chisora have done okay, but it is the lineal champion who should be in there.
Whyte is the WBC silver champion and number one ranked contender. He got that status by taking on the fights the WBC required and paying the fees. He did this at a time when the 'lineal' champion was getting pissed, talking trash about boxing and making a mockery of the anti doping procedure after his positive PED test.

Chisora has a better call on that shot than fury and he has virtually no call on it whatsoever. Whyte is quite clearly more deserving because he's stayed professional and fulfilled the steps you're supposed to. Warren is talking utter ****.
